Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to do the following in Datadog Log Explorer:

  • Visualize analytics for count unique of and statistical operations for log attributes
  • Build multiple queries and formulas
  • Transform queried data in visualizations using functions
  • Alias facets to remap non-standard attribute names to standard attribute names
  • Aggregate logs with similar formats using Patterns
  • Aggregate logs that share a tag or attribute value using Transactions

Primary Audience

This course is designed for DevOps Engineers, SREs, and other DD users that will be using Datadog to use Log Explorer to search and analyze log data.
