Abstract

Discover how users interact with your front end with Real User Monitoring (RUM). This course uses hands-on, real-world scenarios to introduce RUM basics. Learn how to:

  • Compare performance and usage across deployments to measure impact of changes
  • Save time chasing bugs by tracking and correlating error-related data
  • See how users interact with your app with visual recreations of user sessions
  • Make data-driven decisions by uncovering trends and insights in frontend telemetry

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

  • Explain what RUM data is comprised of, and how it is aggregated to surface trends and insights
  • Interpret RUM data to describe what occurred during a user session
  • Identify and translate important UX metrics in the RUM UI
  • Analyze RUM data to surface errors and identify root causes
  • Navigate and interpret basic Error and Deployment tracking data and metrics
  • Use RUM Session Replay to visually reproduce user sessions and bugs
