Datadog Cloud SIEM for AWS Fundamentals - Pilot Certification Exam
What is a Pilot Test
A pilot certification exam is a pre-released version of a new or updated certification test that allows you to be among the first to experience the exam before the official version becomes widely available. Pilot exams include all of the core content intended for the final exam version. The content undergoes psychometric evaluation to ensure content quality and effectiveness. Our team analyzes the performance of each question and uses the statistics to create the final exam. Not all of the questions on a pilot-exam make it to the final version of the certification test.
Pilot certification exams are offered for a short period of four weeks. The Datadog Cloud SIEM for AWS Fundamentals- Pilot Exam will be available starting on December 1, 2025 and ending on January 4th, 2026.
Why should you take a pilot-certification exam:

- Gain early access to a newly developed certification exam.
- Be one of the first to engage with the latest content and test structure.
- Your performance plays a key role in shaping the final version of the exam
Things to consider when taking a pilot-certification exam
- Delayed scoring: Pilot certification exam scores are processed 8 weeks after the pilot testing period ends. For the Datadog Cloud SIEM for AWS Fundamentals- Pilot Exam, scores will be released in March, 2026.
- Limited Proctoring Options: Pilot certification exams are only available through online (remote) proctoring. To learn more about how online proctoring works, visit this page.
- No Retakes: Pilot certification exams are offered for a limited time, and scores are not processed until after the registration period has closed. You must wait until the final version of the exam becomes generally available to retake it.
- Since the exam is still being tested, some questions may be unclear or more difficult than expected.
