Learning Objectives

By the end of this lab, you will be able to:

- Use sources, sinks, transforms, and inputs

- Filter and standardize logs to manage costs and aid in troubleshooting

- Redact sensitize data from logs on site

- Archive logs for later analysis or compliance

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for this course are the following:

  • Completion of the Learning Environment course
  • Experience with Datadog Log Management
  • Able to use a Linux command line shell
  • Basic YAML knowledge
  • Familiarity with editing code in an IDE
