The Datadog AWS integration is one of the first things you configure when setting up Datadog for an AWS environment, and one of the fastest ways to get visibility into your infrastructure. Once connected, Datadog automatically begins collecting CloudWatch metrics across your AWS services and scanning your resources, giving you instant value without additional setup.
In this course, you'll configure the Datadog AWS integration using the official Datadog CloudFormation template and examine the IAM role it creates. You'll then explore the metrics and resources Datadog collects from AWS, tour OOTB dashboards and visualize your AWS architecture in Cloudcraft.
