Abstract

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, manual remediation of infrastructure issues leads to delays, human error, and increased operational costs. This course teaches you to leverage Datadog Workflow Automation to build sophisticated automations that detect problems, gather context, and take meaningful actions. In the hands-on labs, you'll work with real-world scenarios including security group misconfigurations, failed deployments, and compliance monitoring.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Analyze security misconfigurations using Datadog Cloud Security and identify automation opportunities for remediation 
  • Build automated workflows using Datadog Workflow Automation, including private actions for secure environments 
  • Create custom applications using App Builder to enable self-service operational tasks and tag hygiene management 
  • Implement scorecard-based compliance monitoring with automated evaluation workflows and API-driven reporting 
  • Evaluate deployment health using change overlays and design automated rollback procedures for faulty deployments
