Remediate Issues with Workflow Automation

Abstract

Datadog Workflow Automation allows you to automate and coordinate processes using 900+ pre-configured actions and customizable templates. Workflow Automation integrates real-time observability data with automatic remediation, enabling prompt responses to issues and faster, more reliable resolutions. In this hands-on course, you'll set up an automated workflow that performs a time-sensitive remediation task on an integrated service when an alert monitor reports a high error rate.

Learning Objectives

After working through this course, you'll be able to do the following:

Understand the purpose and benefits of Workflow Automation
Set up workflows using blueprints and actions to automate common tasks across popular third-party services (e.g. deployment, security, DevOps)
Configure a monitor to act as a trigger for a workflow
Build an automated workflow from scratch

Primary Audience

Developers and Datadog users who will be using Workflow Automation to automate their common, redundant, and time-sensitive tasks using data from Datadog and/or other 3rd party sources.

Prerequisites

A general familiarity with Datadog.
Familiarity with how teams use Datadog for productivity by leveraging tools such as Incident Management is helpful but not required.
